![]() It’s very rare for me to use up my makeup and face products at the same time but it recently happened. The result? A small Sephora haul to replenish plus some new items that I purchased to test out. It has a scent to it that I don’t particularly like but friends like it and describe it as “refreshing”. The mist helps cool your face as well as provides moisture. As marketed, the mist is enriched with vitamins. There’s vitamin B5 to reduce the appearance of redness, vitamin E to nurture and hydrate your skin, and vitamin C to help brighten. There’s also an antioxidant booster to help fight against free radicals. I haven’t noticed much of the brightening but I did notice that it helped moisturize my face during the day. Would I buy it again? I’m not sure. Right now, it’s hard for me to say since I haven’t been using it for too long. It leaves your skin feeling silky, soft, and clean. There’s no gross film that some lotions or moisturizers may leave. It’s very light weight which allows your skin to freely breathe. I honestly don’t think I would ever go to another moisturizer after using this. Although this isn’t my full skin care regimen, I use the majority of these items daily. I can post a skin care post at a later date but I hope this little haul and review was helpful! (Especially for those who have sensitive and dry skin.) Stay freeessshhh~! ![]() My oh my, oh my. I have recently gotten into planning! I needed a planner for quite some time but I never looked into getting one until now. I found that using my phone to schedule appointments were hard for me to remember what I scheduled. The calendar just wasn’t ideal for me. I’m also a pen to paper kind of gal. Writing things automatically helps me retain what I wrote. So I started looking into planners and organization and fell into this beautiful community! I especially love how everyone is so creative and love a lot of the same things that I love! ![]() ![]() ![]() After some research, I decided on a Kikki-K. I really wanted a feminine color and since the ever popular, gold spotted lilac was discontinued, I had to find something else. Luckily, I found my Kikki on eBay for $85. It is the size “medium” and I found that it’s the perfect size. It’s not too small where it’s hard to decorate and it’s not too big to take with me on the go. ![]() Once I ordered my planner, I knew it was important to get some cute stickers and journal cards. I have a lot of scrap booking paper but I wanted to save it for my inspiration journal. I went to Michael’s and found some super cute stuff!: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here was my first week and first month of decorating. (I actually didn’t follow through with some things I planned because I’ve been so busy.) Please note I didn’t want to decorate my monthly view too much since May was almost over which was when I actually received my planner. My weekly view also looks blank but throughout the week it filled up very quickly. I think in the future I will do an “after” view since my days fill up day by day. I’m sorry this is late but I wanted to post my first week before I continue on with my planner series! I’ll post my month of June and first week of June soon! I think I will be posting once the week is finished since I plan stuff as I go and my weekly view looks extremely different at the end of the week. Happy planning, darlings!
So this will be a super short post. I recently started a journal that’s home to inspiring bible verses, motivating quotes, and happy memories. I have no clue what to call it but I’ve just been calling it my inspiration journal. In any case, since I started my journal, I needed new supplies. I already had some but recently I went to the Target’s Dollar Spot and found some super cute supplies. I believe this is still part of the March 2015 supplies.
![]() ![]() I found mechanical pencils, gel pens, and regular pens. I also found some clothes pins and tags. The stickers I found were from Fred Meyer for $1! I’ll probably use the clothes pins to pin items I don’t want to glue or tape down. As for the tags, I thought would be great as either bookmarks or maybe even date tags. If I end up not using them I’ll most likely use them as gift tags or tags for Pastel Romance. I was thinking I might do a giveaway but I’m not sure if anyone is interested. Please let me know if you think I should go ahead and do some sort of giveaway! |
