Jered, Solomon, Christie, mom and I went to Mount Vernon for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival on Saturday. It is an annual event every April. To my knowledge, they have two tulip farms, street fairs, and helicopter fairs. We went to one of the farms called Tulip Town. It was full of rows of tulips that my phone literally died from taking too many pictures. There is always something magical about standing in fields of flowers. I don't know if it's because I am naturally drawn to vibrant colors or if I'm just easily overwhelmed by the beauty of Mother Nature. Either way, I had a lovely day literally tip toeing through the tulips.                          Labels: personal |
